Company Profile Founded in 1978 by Gordie D. Crowell (M. Sc., P. Geol.), Pro Geo Consultants is a geological consulting partnership registered in Alberta, Canada. After working five years as a wellsite geologist, Bob Earle (B.Sc., P. Geol.) became a partner in 1984 and is now President of Pro Geo Consultants. In addition to providing geological wellsite supervision, Pro Geo Consultants also provides expertise in core and sample studies, preparation of drilling prognoses, regional studies, project management and property evaluations.Computer generated striplogs (utilizing Trivision's Powerlog/Curve and Wellsite System's Strip.Log/Horizontal.Log) and reports can be faxed or sent via modem or the Internet to your office from the field. Many of Pro Geo's consultants have taken the Carbonate Sample Study Workshop by Bruce Bailey, Doug Hayden's Drill Cuttings Workshop and Fracture and Structural Feature Evaluations in Drill-Cuttings by Peter Hews. Experienced consultants are available for all areas of Canada, including the MacKenzie Delta, Beaufort Sea, Tuk Peninsula and the Northwest Territories as well as offshore East Coast of Canada, and numerous countries internationally. Extensive experience has been gained in all facets of wellsite supervision including deep basin Foothills, heavy oil exploration and development, Tar Sands, vertical Coal Bed Methane (CBM) and over 100 horizontal CBM wells. Most consultants have been associated with various aspects of enhanced oil and gas recovery through involvement in conventional and underbalanced vertical, deviated and horizontal drilling programs throughout all areas of Western Canada and Internationally. To date, Pro Geo Consultants have experience on 1500+ horizontal holes in various sands including: Bakken, Basal Quartz, Beaverhill Lake, Belly River, Cadomin, Cardium, Dina, Doe Creek, Dunlevy, Gething, Glauconite, Halfway, Lloyd, McLaren, McMurray, Montney, Ostracod, Raven River, Roseray and Viking, as well as Carbonates including: Baldonell, Cantaur, Charlie Lake, Debolt, Dunlevy, Elkton, Frobisher/Alida, Halfway, Jean Marie, Kee Scarp in NWT, Keg River, Kisbey, Leduc, Nisku, Pekisko, Rundle/Banff, Slave Point, Success, Swan Hills, Titston, Turner Valley, Wabamun, and Yeoman. In addition to the domestic expertise, Pro Geo has international experience in Bangladesh, Libya, South America, Botswana, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Morocco, New Guinea, Oman, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yugoslavia, and the United States. For further reference, a summary of the areas of wellsite experience, both domestic and international is included for each Consultant. The consultants working through Pro Geo Consultants are covered by a five million-dollar General Liability Insurance Policy and have Workmans Compensation coverage. Each individual carries a two million-dollar auto insurance policy and are sole proprietors of limited companies. All consultants have H2S Alive, WHMIS and the transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certificates. They are also required to have their basic first aid and Petroleum Saftey Training (PST or IRP16) certificates. |
